Q. How do I make a booking?

A. You must complete an online quote first, and if you are happy with the price, proceed with the booking process. Credit Card details need to be correct or your booking will not process, and you will recieve an error page. If you have made a booking and not recieved an email confirmation within 48 hours, please call us on 0755368585. 

Q. Do I need to keep filling in my details for future bookings?

A. No. As long as you use the same computer you did to fill out your first booking, all your details will be entered for you. Check the box next to "ENTER MY LAST BOOKING DETAILS" after you have completed your quote. If you have changed any information like car rego, phone number or email address, please update the new booking with these details.

 

Q. How do I get to and from the airport from your parking station?

A. GCAP provides  free shuttles to take you to the departures area, and also picks you up on your return. Simply call us after you have collected your luggage and cleared customs (if applicable),  and GCAP will send a shuttle. 

 

Q. What is the cheapest option for long term parking

A. The cheapest option for long term parking is our secure open air parking  

 

Q. Where the bloody hell are you?

A. :

From the SOUTH: Heading north up the Pacific Hwy, go PAST the Tweed Heads exit and take the next exit that is Kennedy Drive. Turn RIGHT onto Kennedy Drive, and then go about 150 metres and turn LEFT at the lights into Ducat Street (BP on the corner). Travel about 1km up Ducat Street until you see red and green stripes on the road and then turn LEFT into OURIMBAH ROAD. Travel along Ourimbah road past the yellow Surfside bus depot, and GCAP is on the LEFT. 

From the NORTH: Travel south down the Pacific Hwy and stay on through to the Tugan Bypass. When you get to the tunnel, keep in the left hand lane, and immediately you exit the tunnel take the next exit that is Tweed Heads/Coolangatta. Go STRAIGHT THROUGH at the set of lights down to a stop sign. Turn LEFT into Kennedy Drive, and then immediately Left again at the lights into Ducat Street (BP on the corner).Travel up Ducat Street about 1km until you see red and green stripes on the road, this is where you will turn left into OURIMBAH ROAD. Travel along Ourimbah Road past Surfside Bus depot, and GCAP is on the LEFT.

 

Q. Whats this Meet & Greet all about?

A. Gold Coast Airport Parking is now able to offer customers a meet and greet service. If you are in a hurry to catch your flight, running late, or just want more time to do some airport shopping, we can meet you at the departures kerb, and have one of our experienced drivers deliver your car safe and sound to our parking station.When you return from your trip, simply phone GCAP on 0755368585 after you have collected your luggage and cleared customs (if on an international flight), and we will meet you at the arrivals kerb with your car.

      PLEASE NOTE:

For DEPARTING Meet & Greets.

 On the day of your departure, call GCAP on 0755368585 when you are 20 minutes out from the airport, so we can arrange to have one of our experienced valet drivers meet you at the departures kerb. Your departing time on your booking should be the time you will arrive at the airport.

 

Q. Why should I pay extra to park under cover?

A. Our warehouse is a fully enclosed, secure storage facility that is idealy suited to long term parking. For short term stays of 2 - 3 days, open air parking is more cost effective.

Q. Can I book car parking over the phone?

A. Yes you can book over the phone by calling 07 55368585. There is a $10.00 administration fee for phone bookings.

Q. How do I change my parking reservation?

A. You can change your parking reservation by email or by calling 07 55368585 and quoting your Booking confirmation number.

Q. What should I do if my return flight changes or gets cancelled while I'm away?

A. Call GCAP as soon as you have your new flight details confirmed.

Q. What happens if my departure flight is cancelled?

A. Call or email GCAP and arrange for another date to park, or request a refund of your storage fee. Full refunds are given less a $10.00 administration fee.

Q. Does it take long to check me in and get me to the airport?

A. On average it only takes 2 minutes to check you in, and only 5 minutes to have you dropped off at the departures kerb.

Q. How much time should I allow before my flight?

A. Generally domestic airlines would like you to be at the airport within one hour of your flight. Tiger Air request  longer. International travellers should allow two hours.

         TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

 

  1. The words Vehicle and Vehicles referred to in this agreement define a licensed motor car, van, utility, recreation vehicle or trailer and its load thereon.
  2. The company shall not be liable for the loss of any vehicle or any damage thereto or for the loss or damage of any item left in a vehicle with the company for safe keeping howsoever and such loss or damage be caused subject to the company’s obligation to render its services with due care and skill. The terms of this condition shall apply whilst any vehicles is parked or otherwise in the company’s custody or control or whilst it is being moved or driven.
  3. Notwithstanding any demand or request to the contrary the company may move and drive any motor vehicle whilst it is left with the company for the purpose of being parked. The condition will apply to all vehicle valet services between the car park and the airport provided by the company as requested by the company.
  4. The company may deliver the vehicle to any person producing a claim check or receipt or offering such other evidence of ownership or authority as the company in its sole discretion deems satisfactory. The company may retain the vehicle until the claim check or receipt is produced or until so satisfied.
  5. The customer expressly acknowledges that if required, the claim check will be presented for collection of vehicles.
  6. No modification amendment or variation of this agreement shall be made unless evidenced in writing signed by one of the company’s duly authorized officers.
  7. The company warrants that its services will be rendered with due care and skill.
  8. In these conditions the company refers to Gold Coast Airport Parking P/L.
